It wasn’t until near the end of our trip, in Fukuoka, that we got the full cherry blossom experience. Needless to say it was worth the wait. • • • • • • #japan #japantravel #fukuoka #cherryblossom #sakura #maizurupark
The A-bomb dome, Peace Museum, and other monuments in Peace Memorial Park weren’t typical ‘fun’ travel destinations but were absolutely worth visiting. Fortunately they were surrounded by beautiful cherry blossoms. We also got to eat some delicious okonomiyaki on our one day in Hiroshima. Read all about it and the rest of our Japan trip in the latest post! • • • • • • • #japan #japantravel #hiroshima #peacememorialpark #abombdome #cherryblossom #okonomiyaki
Our last day of JR rail passing got us to the Miyajima ferry just in time to see the Great Torii at sunset! • • • • • • • #japan #japantravel #jrailpass #kansaihiroshimapass #miyajima #sunset #greattorii #threescenicviewsofjapan
One of the benefits of the JR Kansai-Hiroshima Area rail pass was that it allowed us to hop over to Bunny Island (read our newest post for more info) for a day as we made our way to Hiroshima. • • • • • • #japan #japantravel #bunnyisland #okunoshima #usagishima #somanybunnies #jrailpass #kansaihiroshimapass #bunnies #bunniefood #japanimaladventures
What’s the most number of spas you’ve ever been to in one day? We set out PR at 6 during our trip to Kinosaki Onsen. And what better to rehydrate with after a long soak than... milk?🤔 • • • • • • • • #japan #japantravel #travelblogger #kinosakionsen #onsen #spa #spamarathon #satonoyu #yanagiyu #ichinoyu #mandarayu #kounoyu #goshonoyu #gotmilk #wheninrome
